Native to the West Indies and grown in St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, as well as throughout the Caribbean Islands where it was cultivated for extraction, Bay Essential Oil is obtained through a steam distillation of the bay leaves. Fresh spicy scent whose sweet-balsamic aroma is often undertoned but considered relaxing and warming, Bay Essential Oil blends quite well to such oils as citrus, geranium, lavendar, lavadin, rosemary, and ylang ylang.

It has a calming and warming effect on your emotions plus those general aches and pains that you might have, including rheumatic pains. In addition to possessing a calming and warming effect, Bay Essential Oil has been used to settle the digestive system, excess gas, as a tonic for the liver and kidneys, and as a stimulant even though in large doses, it has been proven to be a sedative.

This essential oil is helpful with any hair or scalp conditions and has been known to be used to combat hair loss. Bay Essential Oil has also been quite successful in treating sprains, strains, and bruises.

SUGGESTED USAGE
Put a few drops in a diffuser or a vaporizer for an infection, fever, or even those aches and pains. This vapor therapy can also help to trigger inspiration besides having a calming effect on the mind. Use this essential oil as a blended massage oil or dilute it in a bath. Make sure to dilute the bay essential oil properly.

This oil is for extrenal use only and should not be taken internally. It may irritate your skin and you should avoid the bay essential oil if you are pregnant or nursing. If you are pregnant, suffer from any medical conditions, or taking any medication, consult a health care practitioner before using this essential oil.
